This weekend, the Romanian workers from the Dacia plant manufacturing the Logan for Renault have started a strike. Indeed, their plant has made a 150m profit last financial year and they decided that 285 /month was not well paid enough. How dare they even think about it ? They even claim a 150 /month increase... The answer from the Renault group has been to refuse the wage increase and threaten to re-alocate the units produced in Romania in Morrocco or Russia... where they already have built new factories to build - guess what - the same Logan but for less money...
It is just unbelievable what consequences and how important for the world economy it is to buy a "low cost" car... If you don't earn enough money to buy a "classic" car, think twice before buying a low cost one because one day your employer might tell you: "285 /month is too much, we'll reduce your salary!"...
Your consumption has consequences... even on your own future!
